Summary Objective
To assess how fisheries policy makers and fisheries managers can ensure that fisheries wealth is used to benefit society by contributing to economies, rather than driving fisheries overexploitation.

Key Customer Purpose
This project provided an estimate of the potential UK fish resource rents; possible benefits from well managed fisheries; three detailed case-studies of UK fisheries and discussed the key policy implications. It is helping to identify changes needed to achieve sustainable fisheries.
