Description
This project will:
• Review problems with wild deer in the urban and peri-urban environment.
• The project will draw on experiences in the UK, elsewhere in Europe and the US.
• Consider the different approaches used to deal with these issues across Europe and the US identify what approaches are applicable for England
• Offer proposals and recommendations for a strategy for management of urban deer populations and how this could be administered/structured
Objective
•To review problems with wild deer in the urban and peri-urban environment
•To highlight the knowledge gaps and areas of further research required to make it more accurate.
