Development of good practice and regulatory guidance on composting for local authorities to minimise the potential for statutory nuisance and support investigation of complaints and enforcement - NO0211

1) To ensure that local authorities are informed about the potential for annoyance and odour complaints from composting operations.
2) To provide a basis for local authorities to assess the major causes of odour emissions from composting sites.
3) To provide information on operational practices so as to reduce incidence of odour complaints.
