The potential for behavioural and demand-side management measures to save electricity, gas and carbon in the domestic sector and resulting supply-side implication - EP0213
|
Description
The objectives of the project are to :
1) understand the potential impact of behavioural and energy management innovation in improving energy efficiency and also reducing domestic carbon emissions in the short-run (to 2011), outline possible uptake scenarios up to 2020 and the potential role of smart metering in this and how to maximize the potential benefits of smart metering to link with other demand side measures.
2) understand the range and extent of potential interactions between such demand-side management and supply-side developments (renewables, DG, smart Grids) and the impacts on other energy policy goals such as security of supply. |
