NOISE ATTITUDE SURVEY - NO0209

Description
The noise strategy will enable better understanding of noise issues in Westminster and set out a rigorous approach to managing noise in the City.
Objective
1) Create a body of research on the noise environment in the City
2) Inform and influence policies and practices across the Council and where relevant other authorities and organisations with responsibilities in relation to noise management
3) Promote the better co-ordination of existing, and where appropriate, develop new, noise related Council activities
4) Communicate the right of individuals and organisations and public authorities in relation to noise
5) Promote proactive and innovative measures for managing noise
6) Establish indicators and mechanisms for monitoring progress in implementing the noise strategy.
