Contribution to cost of Land Use Policy Analyst - RE0226

Description
The RELU Programme is conducting strategic research relevant to contemporary policy concerns on land use. Projects funded by the programme cover a range of topics, including the future for farmland ecology and landscapes, the management of floodplains and water catchments, the threats to ecosystem services, the prospects for bioenergy, the sustainability of hill farming, etc.
Objective
To help draw out the cross-cutting and strategic ideas the land use policy analyst will liaise with RELU projects and researchers drawn from across the social and natural sciences and also facilitate meetings of a expert group of leading RELU researchers to inform and guide their work. The analyst will also direct and moderate an electronic discussion group (administered by the RELU Director’s Office) on the future of land use policy, to ensure the involvement of the wider RELU research community.
