Contribution to the UK hosting of the International Scientific Conference on Dioxins and related persistent organic pollutants - CB0402


The aim of this project is a successful international conference on dioxins which helps the UK to meet its obligations on training of young scientists and implement Article 10 of the Stockholm Convention.


The work will have the following objectives

1. To support a successful UK conference
2. To raise Defra’s profile in training of scientific personnel
3. To support attendance of overseas students
4. Reporting on successful contribution will be included in UK second national reporting on implementing the Stockholm Convention in 2011
