Description
Summary Objective:
Collate and evaluate existing knowledge on stock assessment and management in uncertain fisheries. Develop management procedures (stock assessment methods, reference points, management controls) using appropriate data for a range of case studies of relevance to UK fisheries. Provide better estimates of uncertainty in assessment outputs.
Key Customer Purpose:
Develop and evaluate alternative methods for stock assessment and management focussing on data poor stocks. Develop approaches for the generation of robust management and assessment of a wide variety of stocks, fisheries and management regimes.
