Description
SUMMARY OBJECTIVE
The aim of the proposed research is to develop and demonstrate an approach to simulating and assessing the long term effect of non-structural measures and their interactions, including land use planning, insurance, damage prevention, preparedness (eg. early warning systems) and changed building practices (eg. the use of stilts or bunds), in order to enhance the benefits of such measures.
