Review of Waste Strategy 2000 - Provision of SEA Research Consultancy - WR0207

Description
The overall aim of the project is to provide Defra with substantial assistance with the research required in preparing the Environmental Report for the SEA (‘Strategic Environmental Assessment’) of the Review of Waste Strategy 2000 and to ensure a robust methodology.
Objective
The specific objectives of the Project are to develop a robust methodology which fulfils two aims:

(i) Assists in ensuring that the SEA of the Review is based on appropriate data and a sound methodology; and

(ii) Is capable of serving as a model to apply to future SEAs Defra may be required to undertake in the waste area and, if possible, more widely.
