WEST PENWITH ESA-RESURVEY OF B10 ROUGH LAND MONITORING PLOTS - MA01030
|
Description
This project relates to land under ESA agreements within the West Penwith ESA scheme in Cornwall, and aims to understand how well the ESA scheme is meeting its aims, in particular the conservation of heathland and semi-natural grassland. It will involve repeat surveys of ESA plots, with associated data analysis and reporting. By comparisons with the baseline survey for these areas, changes in vegetation composition and soil chemistry will be quantified. From this the likely reasons for the changes will be assessed specifically to investigate the impact of ESA -prescribed management on the grasslands and heathlands within the area. |
