Description
Objectives
The project aims to provide an information resource and guidance to government and developers on the range of cable installation techniques available, their likely effects and potential mitigation, drawing on windfarm and other marine industry practice and experience.
Key Customer Purpose
There is a need for guidance on seabed cable installation techniques and their potential environmental effects to inform Round 2 windfarm developers (and their consultants) and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) stage in the consents process.
