A technology transfer network on automated food assembly
Objective
To provide an infrastructure for two combined academic meetings per year

To seed new research proposals From UK funders and EU (Framework VII)

To maintain the food automation website as a resource for researchers in this area and develop it further

To disseminate the information from the meetings in appropriate journals and newsletters

To create links and hold meetings with other groups active in the food industry, eg Food Faraday

To seek out new participants from both industry and academia

To liaise with funding bodies and overseas researchers
