Contribution towards cost of developing dedicated csf website - WT03033

To explain how catchments work; to set out an inventory of farm practices that contribute to dwpa; to provide sector-specific advice on how to tackle dwpa; to allow farmers to work out if they are in a catchment that suffers from dwpa and what they can do to tackle dwpa in that catchment; to record and update local activity in catchments that is relevant to tackling dwpa; to link up with other relevant sources of information and with other work on best farming practices; to promote farm practice changes that have dual benefits for the farm business and for waterbodies; to provide testimony of what individual and groups of farmers have done to tackle dwpa.
Contribution only being sought – rest of funding to come from WQ consultancy budget. Work to be put out to tender.

£20K is to go to English Nature to go towards the costs of the HR consultants recruiting the CSFOs.

£40K is to go to RDS towards a CSFO handbook, a catalogue of technical material, best practice sheets etc.
