Description
The overall aim of the project is to produce a synopsis of the MAFF/Defra funded R&D relevant to finfish cultivation from 1990-2004 and from this publish a summary of results in a form that is easily accessible to the lay reader, but equally of value to the industry and the scientific community.
Summary Objective:
The production of a short summary of each of the research programmes relevant to finfish cultivation undertaken with MAFF/defra FC Commission funding since 1990, and the compilation of a full list of publications and other outputs derived from this R&D programme.
Key Customer Purpose:
Provide a better understanding of the research that has been funded by Defra on finfish cultivation since 1990. Provide a useful guide to this research which may be used to clearly illustrate the nature of the work, as well as the results that have been obtained. |
Objective
The objectives of the project are:
1. To produce a short summary of each of the research programmes relevant to finfish cultivation undertaken with MAFF/defra FC Commission funding since 1990.
2. To integrate these summaries within research areas to provide a readable and comprehensive account of the work carried out and what it achieved, enhancing it where approproiate with relevant illustrative material (photographs and figures).
3. To compile a full list of publications and other outputs derived from these R&D programmes.
4. To arrange publication of the report as a CEFAS Technical Report and provide a copy that can be posted on the Defra web site |
