NON-CONTACT ULTRASONIC QUALITY INSPECTION OF FOOD PRODUCTS (AFM227) - FT1514

Description
The purpose of this Link Proposal is to develop a reliable non-contact ultrasonic food inspection system applicable for the food industry
Objective
· To develop a non-contact ultrasonic demonstrator for determining the internal structure and detecting contamination of cheese, dough and other food products.
· To prove that the concept could be extended to develop a fast and reliable online inspection system.
· To evaluate the demonstration and recommend necessary future technical work.
· To show that the proposed technology (currently in laboratory implementation) can be adapted to the actual conditions found in a factory environment.
