Reviews of National approvals for drinking water construction products (phase 1) - WT02032

The use in-situ of epoxy resin and polyurethane rapid-setting resins in water supply pipes is subject to approval by the Secreatary of State, under Regulation 25 of the Water Supply (Water quality) Regulations 1989.

01: The general suitabilty of the appointed assesors in respect of requirements of Annex C.
02: The competence and training of the indicvidual assessors nominated by the assesor.
03: The adequacy of the documented procedures maintained by the assesor.
04: The thoroughness of the assessment procudure, by reference to a check on records maintained by the assessor.

BS EN ISO 9001: 2001 objective is to review the requiremenst of BS EN ISO 9001: 2001, to compare the requirements with those of BS EN ISO 9000: 1994 and to report on any implications for the quality systems and procedures operated by lining contracters for in-sit application of epoxy resins or rapid- setting polymers.
