Motor Vehicles and Rights of Way - WC03001
|
Description
Very little is known about the recreational use of public rights of way by motor vehicles. There is anecdotal information, and information about the effects of different groups of users on particular ways but no comprehensive data across the network. The research is intended to collect comprehensive information to complement Countryside Agency data on use by walkers, equestrians and cyclists. The project will also look at the effects of use on different types of way (eg different surfacing mediums, maintenance regimes), wildlife and enjoyment by others. |
