Description
The scientific objectives of this project are
- to evaluate risk to meso- and micro-fauna from root expression
- laboratory-based definition of the impact of GM plants on soil fauna
- to quantify the impact of GM plants on soil fauna in the field
- to quantify the impact of GM plants on micro-organisms
- to determine safe expression levels in plants and the rhizosphere during cropping and post-harvest
