Biodegradable Starch Mano-Composites for Thermoformable Film Packaging for Food Products (AFM 200) - FT1505

Description
The project objectives are:

1. to exploit the use of wheat for food packaging application
2. to develop cpst-effective and novel technologies for property enhancement of starch based packaging materials
3. to enhance the sscientific and technological understanding of methods used for performance enhancement of starch-based sheet materials
4. to promote the use of biodegradable food packaging by commercial exploitation of newly developed technologies and materials.
