Investigation into the impact of Endocrine Disrupter standards on the UK water industry - WT03009

Description
OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT

i) To provide brief review of current research on endocrine disruptors to estimate incidence of effects in UK rivers.

ii) To review recent research of proposed Predocted No Effect Concentrations (PNECs)for natural oestrogenic steroids.

iii) Brief assessment of potential cost implications of above to UK water industry.

iv)To produce a prioritised list of research areas where further specific investigation is required to increase accuracy of above cost assessment.
