Description
Development of cryptosporidium typing schema to facilitate identification of source of outbreaks

Executive summaries of the WDCQ research reports and earlier Department of the Environment drinking water research reports, are posted on the Foundation for Water Research website (www.fwr.org) The website also contains details of how to obtain copies of research reports.

01: To investigate the possibility of extracting occysts DNA from regulatory sample slide;
02: To apply molecular typing and speciation sceme to the extracted DNA;
03: To report on the feasibilty of carrying out routine typing and speciation of regulatory samples taking in account of the robustness, sensitivity, reporducibility, cost and the staffing and equipment resourse requirements.
