Cost curves for dioxin emissions to air - CB01037

Description
CGMP Division has agreed to fund part of an existing contract between DEFRA AEQ Division and Entec, confining the contribution to work on dioxins and furans. The programme allows for the development of detailed and accurate cost curves for dioxin emission reductions. The study will provide robust data on the costs, benefits and practicalities of abatement measures which will provide a basis for a full regulatory impact assessment of the Government`s dioxins strategy. The work will address gaps in earlier cost curves and will take account of feedback from the consultation on dioxins and the latest UK and international research in this area.
