Marine impacts - AE16001

Description
Keep up to date with activities which might influence the quality of the marine environment eg through changes in land-based practices and developments in the coastal zone. Provide advice to Marine and Waterways Division (MWD) and the Environment Agency in relation to discharges to coastal and estuarine waters. Provide MWD with advice on the potential impact of hazardous substances in the marine environment, this includes land based activity as well as uses at sea. Provide advice on habitats for marine species and the effects of disturbance and sea reefs. Provide advice on nutrient management and marine eutrophication issues and advice on EU Directives concerning the sea.
