CS2000 Module 17 - Finding out causes and understanding significance (FOCUS) - transferred to WC01022 - BD1907
|
Description
Initial results of Countryside Survey 2000 (CS2000) were published in November 2000. Technical reports are being prepared. The published report gives some possible explanations for changes in broad habitats and landscape features in the 1990s and a limited assessment of significance with respect to landscape and biodiversity conservation policies. The published report malkes very limited reference to other data sources that are available to assist in making interpretations. Consultations with the CS2000 Advisory Group have identified a number of questions concerning the interpretation and understanding of the results. The aim of this project is to address these immediate questions and clarify the causes and significance of the changes detected in CS2000. |
