Development of a web-based progrma to illustrate guidelines for recognition & assessment of animal pain - AW1015

Description
Production of a web-based knowledge transfer program with examples (stills, movies, sounds and graphics) and interactive tasks. It is intended that this will be in place by Jan 2003 for the use of students, veterinary practitioners, animal welfare orgainisations, named veterinary surgeons, animal welfare inspectors, home office inspectors and animal care/ethical review committees. It will be in a format that will allow users to download and adapt for their own use.
Objective
Objectives are to produced within one year:
01: A web-based program with examples (stills, movies, sounds and graphics) and interactive tasks for the use of veterinary students, veterinary students, veterinary practioners, animal welfare inspectors, named veterinary surgeons, home office inspectors and animal care/ ethical review commitees.
02: A program that can be completed in about 3 hrs.
03: A format that will allow users to improve and adapt it for their own use.
